Business Controller

 

to join our Marketing and Services (M&S) Business Finance team in Espoo. 

 

Our team is responsible for partnering with business, providing actionable analysis and forward-looking insights to support decision-making and timely and accurate reporting. In this job you will work closely with M&S Sales B2B and Sustainable Growth.

 

We work where we are most productive and offer the opportunity to work either onsite or remotely. In order to promote cooperation and a sense of belonging, we also meet regularly face-to-face.

Your role in our team 

 

• Manage monthly forecasting process and management reporting 
• Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of segments' performance, including P&L, cash flow, working capital and KPIs
• Lead long and short term business planning processes for M&S Sales B2B and Sustainable Growth segments.
• Understand business/function and main drivers behind value creation and participate in business case evaluations 
• Develop forward-looking insights of performance against plan/targets
• Handle ad-hoc requests and perform in-depth analysis for relevant areas
• Develop new user-friendly self-service reports for Business 
• Proactively identify areas and actions for improving financial reporting and analysis
• Support and coach stakeholders
• Participate in and lead special projects

 

The best combination to succeed in this role

 

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Accounting, Finance or similar field
• 3-5 years of experience in similar type of position in finance, for example as Business or Financial Controller
• Experience in financial modeling, planning & investment evaluations
• Good knowledge of accounting policies (local and IFRS)
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English both verbal and written
• Responsible attitude with a safety-oriented mindset

 

We also value

 

• Experience in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, Microsoft D365 and Power BI
• Good skills with SQL
