Internship Overview
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Intern to support our early-stage growth in the Finnish market. The intern will help us understand the market, connect with potential clients, and build a strong foundation for future business development.
You will work mainly on market research, competitor analysis, communication with Finnish healthcare organizations, and marketing tasks, including improving our online presence.
The working languages are Finnish (main) and English (internal communication).
Key Objectives
During the internship, you will help us:
- Understand the Finnish healthcare recruitment market.
- Identify potential clients and opportunities for collaboration.
- Increase awareness of our services among Finnish healthcare organizations.
- Support communication and documentation in Finnish and English.
Expected Outcomes
By the end of the internship, you should be able to deliver:
- A short market research summary on Finnish healthcare recruitment.
- A basic competitor analysis with key insights.
- A practical outreach and marketing plan targeting Finnish healthcare employers.
- A list of potential client organizations with contact details.
- Drafted outreach messages and emails in Finnish.
- Improved visibility for Zotno Oy through planned communication activities.
- Optimized English website content to better meet Finnish market expectations.
Required Skills
- Native-level Finnish (writing and speaking).
- English skills (min. B1) for internal communication.
- Ability to conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Interest or basic skills in marketing and business development.
- Strong communication skills; confident in contacting organisations.
- Basic digital and website editing skills (SEO knowledge is an advantage).
- Ability to use Canva or Photoshop for simple marketing materials.
- Good organisational and planning abilities.
- Motivated to work in a new company and build things from scratch.
- Additional advantage (not required): experience in Finnish healthcare or familiarity with the social and healthcare system.
