Development Manager

We are looking for a Development Manager to Order-to-Cash service area in Fortum’s Financial and Operational Procurement Services. You will be responsible for taking the lead in developing cash management services and related processes together with our internal stakeholders in Corporate Treasury, other Finance and Business teams as well as with our Banking partners. Some of the key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring the implementation of processes, procedures and internal controls in the related services also in the new businesses and geographies
  • Ensuring required services are implemented with the banks and contributing actively to the related administrative tasks (contracts, user accesses etc.)
  • Driving process automation and optimization within cash management processes
  • Creating and developing new services based on the stakeholder feedback as well as business and compliance needs
  • Contributing to the development of systems and tools in the related and interfacing processes
  • Leading and developing internal KYC and AML processes related to the banks and group legal entities
  • Following up on the development of payment landscape, related technologies and trends.

We promote a hybrid work model but we also value cooperation face-to-face and we expect weekly presence in our office as well. The position is based in Fortum Headquarters in Espoo, Finland and the role requires some travelling. Please note that we are not offering relocation support to move to Finland.

What we are looking for

You have a relevant degree in the business administration or similar with the several years of experience in the order-to-cash processes, corporate payments, cash pooling and cash forecasting solutions. You are a proficient user of common MS Office tools, familiar with cash management solutions within different ERP systems as well as different Banking and Treasury tools.  You have experience in running development initiatives with the process development principals like Lean, Six Sigma or similar. Experience in process optimization and automation is an advantage. In addition you have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team. Fluent spoken and written English is a requirement.
