We are looking for a Manager, Treasury Accounting to join our Treasury Operations team in UPM Group Treasury. The position is in Helsinki, Finland.
UPM Treasury is a centralized function managing liquidity, foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate risk, funding, and cash management globally at UPM.

The Treasury operations team is looking for an experienced accounting professional to join our team. We handle both external and internal transacting of financial transactions, from execution with banks to accounting and reporting of these transactions. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your interest in treasury topics with your accounting skills. You will gain a holistic view of a multinational corporate treasury operations and have an important role in ensuring an efficient and robust treasury accounting process. What you will do
- Have overall responsibility of Treasury accounting in accordance with IFRS and Finnish Accounting Standards
- Contribute to Group level IFRS and Finnish Accounting Standards reporting
- Provide support for Treasury accounting, budgeting and Back-office activities
- Maintain accounting setup in Treasury Risk Management system and participate in development of the system
- Collaborate with the entire Treasury team, as well as Finance and Tax operations
Who you are
- You have in-depth knowledge of IFRS and Finnish Accounting Standards
- You have a basic understanding of financial instrument and derivatives
- You possess a skill to learn to use and upkeep Treasury system
- You have minimum of 5 year of relevant work experience
- You have good written and verbal communication skills in English, Finnish and other language skills are considered as an asset
