Project Manager, Test Engineering

As a Test Engineering Project Manager at Nokia, you will lead Baseband/RF TE projects with a team of 5-10 engineers. The work is executed in a hybrid mode, with a combination of flexible on-site and remote way of working. Your main responsibility will be to guide and manage the team of HW and SW specialists to reach the set targets for the TE Project in the NPI phase and volume production. You will work in collaboration with stakeholders such as the DCC team, R&D teams, Production, and external manufacturing partners.

The primary goal of TE projects is to design and implement production testing capability for new products. This role is part of the Supply Chain RF&BB RF Europe tribe and plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of testing projects. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Guide and manage the program's Test Engineering project team (5-10 engineers) on Baseband/RF TE testing projects.
  • Reach set targets for TE projects in the NPI phase and volume production.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders such as the DCC team, R&D teams, Production, and external manufacturing partners.
  • Oversees the design and implementation of production testing capabilities for new products.
  • Lead and plan Design for Testing (DFT) and Test Capability Creation activities.
  • Responsible for tester development project planning, resourcing, investments, quality and scheduling.
  • Set testability targets, define a product test strategy and select test platforms.
  • Transfer assets to a volume factory and GPR in EMS cases
     

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • B.Sc. or similar degree in telecommunications, IT, or computer sciences
  • Experience in project management (Test Engineering area)
  • Good understanding of telecom, hardware, and software development
  • Knowledge of Baseband/RF products and TE processes
  • Understanding of current and future test platforms
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira
  • Knowledge of Scrum, an agile way of working, and continuous integration
  • Experienced at guiding and managing a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
