We are seeking a Project Procurement Manager to join our Project Procurement Team, Espoo.

 

This is a temporary position (parental leave) until the end of 2025.

 

What you'll do 

 

  • Operate on the existing Procurement plan basis and apply that to the projects
  • Prepare and file the project-specific purchasing documentation ​
  • Update and maintain the Project Procurement Plan and Project Savings Report​
  • ​Compile Sourcing rules in Supplier selections and adhere to existing Product Procurement Plans
  • Prepare and lead the bidding process and compile the bid evaluations
  • Manage project-specific purchase negotiations
  • Secure the Metso favorable commercial terms & conditions in project purchase contracting
  • Manage claims and guarantee-related issues
  • Report the supplier's performance

 

Who you are 

 

  • You have an academic background in a technical or economic discipline (Bachelor's or Master's degree)
  • work experience in procurement and/or sourcing
  • Solid business and industry understanding
  • Good contractual skills
  • Profound knowledge of supply processes and practices
  • Strong communication and negotiating skills
  • Ability to work with Metso core systems (SAP, Enovia, Sievo)
  • A good command of English is essential, Finnish and additional language skills would be an asset
