Senior Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to our Process Industries division to work in various project management and engineering management tasks in large EPCM or Detail Engineering projects.

Work tasks include:

  • Engineering and Project management in different phases of industrial projects 
  • Leading project team including different engineering disciplines, area managers and subconsultants
  • Project management tasks such as financial, scheduling, communication, and change management and follow-up according to AFRY project management guidelines

Qualifications

In order to succeed in this role, you have:

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. (Tech.) or similar
  • 15+ years of experience in Detail Engineering and/or EPCM projects.
  • Excellent co-operation, leadership and communications skills.
  • Ability to lead large, multidisciplinary and global teams and solve complex conflict situations.
  • Knowledge of the different engineering disciplines and understanding of multidisciplinary work requirements.
  • Understanding of project and engineering management systems, tools and practices, preferably e.g. AFRY's Virtual Site Environment systems.
  • Project Managers also participate in Sales and Development, so we appreciate sales and entrepreneurial attitude and possibility to travel in Finland and abroad.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English
  • Process industry projects work experience in pulp and paper, mining and metals or chemical engineering projects is considered as advantage
