Senior SW Engineer, SoC

We're looking for a Senior SW Engineer to be part of our SW team, where you will work with the latest SoC-based technologies for the future base stations. We offer exciting work, a people-oriented culture, the possibility to learn and influence the work, and be part of Nokia's core business.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Your English language skills allow you to communicate efficiently in our multicultural environment and, with your teamwork and network-building skills, you can establish good co-operation over the different SW development areas. 

Your main responsibilities would be working on SW designs and implementation for multi-threaded RTOS systems (e.g. Zephyr) with focus on topics like system events, memory management, thread management, interrupt handling, resource management, scheduling and symmetric multiprocessing using modern C/C++.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have:

  • Extensive experience with modern C/C++ programming languages
  • Experience with Zephyr RTOS
  • Strong experience in multithreaded systems
  • Experiences with the RTOS topics mentioned above
  • Collaboration skills in a diverse team and a self-driven attitude
  • SoC development or HW intensive SW e.g., assembly development experiences
  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in EE, CS or similar

Please note that this role requires presence at the Oulu office (hybrid working model), and we are not offering international relocation option for this position.
