As a Summer Trainee in Strategic Planning and Development, based in Espoo or Tampere, you will:
Support the team in various strategic inventory planning related business cases.
Simulate with planning system simulation module and/or in Excel how what-if scenarios would impact inventories or forecast.
Support global process development and inventory planning key users, specifically in documentation and data gathering/analysis.
Support strategic development by preparing and facilitating group workshops, and keeping record of outcomes and action points
Participate in global inventory planning related projects as support resource.
Other global inventory planning-related tasks.
Who you are
A higher degree study background in fields such as Business, Mathematics/Statistics, or Logistics.
Eagerness to learn, develop, and succeed in the role, with the ability to work as part of a team while also handling certain tasks independently.
Good skills in MS Office tools, with SAP ERP preferred.
Good documentation skills to support creating memos, action trackers, and instruction documents.
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Statistics and data handling coding skills are a plus.

Many of our summer trainees continue their employment with us part-time, full-time, or with their thesis after the summer.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2065-2875 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
