Responsibilities
We are looking for tech-minded studentsto put theoretical knowledge into practice in our research and development projects in our Oulu R&D site. You are curious to learn moreand excited to do various tasks as part of your job. Your English language skills allow you to communicate in our multicultural environment.
You will be part of our Digital Front End (DFE) ASIC team, where more than 190 professionals are working on the Nokia ReefShark family of System-on-Chips (SoC): ReefShark | Nokia Networks
We are responsible for custom silicon, a key element in our strategy to technology leadership in 5G networks. We are working with state-of-the-art tools and have access to the latest silicon technologies. Our team is diverse, with 13 different nationalities represented. The working language is English.
As a System-on-Chip Trainee/Thesis Worker you are a member of SoC development organization, and you will participate our project tasks. You communicate well in a multi-cultural team in English.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Required Skills
We appreciate if you have knowledge or experience in some of these areas:
- Digital design, verification and debugging
- SoC (ASIC/FPGA) design flow and process from RTL to GDS
- Verification methodologies, e.g. UVM
- Logical and physical implementation: synthesis, STA, P&R, DFT
- VHDL or SystemVerilog language, Matlab, HighLevelSynthesis
- 3GPP standards
