We are now looking for an Additive Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Tampere to operate in production and prototyping of printed parts. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining 3D printing equipment, performing, and preparing post processing steps, and ensuring quality control throughout the production process, resulting constant repeatable quality, and keeping schedules. You will collaborate closely with team members to optimize production workflows and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:

Setup and maintain state-of-the-art PBF-LB machinery.

Ensure machinery is in great working condition and build jobs start on time.

Perform and prepare post-processing operations for metal printed parts.

Handle metal powder material and build plates.
-
Conduct regular quality checks on printed components to ensure they meet specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with the printing process and post processing equipment.

Participate and perform equipment maintenance related tasks.

Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and production metrics.

Maintain accurate records of print jobs and post-processing steps.

Participate in improving the workflow and productivity of the manufacturing unit.

Handling of logistics tasks such as preparing and receiving shipments.

Operate within safety guidelines and participate in driving all safety related topics forward.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum degree in technical vocational.

Previous experience and interest in industrial level additive manufacturing and 3D printing technology.

Previous experience of working in production operations and manufacturing environment.
-
Experience in CNC machining, welding, cutting, drilling, milling are considered as an advantage.

High motivation to work in the AM field.
-
Experience with laser powder bed fusion is an advantage.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Good IT skills and understanding of CAD software and design principles.

Good written and oral communication skills in English and Finnish.

Commitment to quality and paying great attention to the details. Previous quality control experience is an advantage.
