The AutoMine® Surface R&D team is looking for an Automation Engineer for its global technology and manufacturing center in Tampere, Finland. The vacancy is full-time and permanent.
Our team consists of automation and software experts and focuses on surface mining digital products – more precisely autonomous equipment, remote control, and remote monitoring solutions for automated mining machinery. Our growing team, the AutoMine® Surface R&D team makes this development happen by creating state of the art product solutions for the mining industry of tomorrow. About your role
As an Automation Engineer, Autonomous Equipment your main responsibilities will be:
About you
You have a Master or Bachelor’s degree in automation/software or similar. In addition, you have experience in automation/software development and good background in C / C++ / Matlab / Python. You could be beginning of you carrier or an expert, the job description will be adapted according to your experience and background. Your previous experience from autonomous equipment’s, 3D laser-based navigation or machine control systems is highly appreciated. You are a team player and your way of working is systematic and you have passion to get things done in time and quality. This job requires excellent written and verbal skills in English and willingness to travel occasionally.
