Business Manager, Paper & Board Converting and Nonwoven

Valmet Automation is a leading supplier of automation solutions for customers in pulp and paper industries, power generation, marine automation, and process industries.

We are now looking for a growth driven Business Manager who will be responsible for our Paper & Board converting and Nonwoven control and measurement system business. You will drive the growth through managing the global sales funnel but also but also guarantee sufficient market understanding related to different end-uses, applications and competing solutions and innovate new opportunities to complement and expand existing product portfolio. You will work closely with our global customers as well as our sales organizations, project engineering and R&D to ensure that our products and services fulfill customers' expectations. You will support our global sales organization, acting as the primary contact point for different topics related to Paper & Board Converting and Nonwoven business. Business Manager has Key Account Management role for selected global customers as well.

Requirements

You have university degree in relevant technology area. You have solid understanding how paper & board is behaving in converting processes like corrugators, self-adhesive laminators, coaters & extrusion coating and/or experience from Nonwoven industry. Knowledge of quality control and machine vision systems is an advantage.

To succeed in this position, you need to work systematically, and you know your way in a global matrix organization and possess excellent co-operation and negotiation skills. We expect you to be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Ability and willingness to travel is required.
