BUSINESS SITE CONTROLLER

Are you a business controller who has strategic finance management skills to lead and support organization in an international context?

Fortaco is looking for an experienced Business Site Controller with a background of business controlling function and leadership team support. There is a need to focus more on developing financial business support for the general manager, building on relevant measurement, and reporting to Group.

You will report directly to the General Manager of Business Site Kalajoki (in matrix organization to Group Business Control Director as well), be a member of Business Site Kalajoki Leadership Team and provide business recommendations to improve site performance. Business Site Controller must be comfortable with being in high demand and handling not only core financial responsibilities but also has to be deeply involved in all other functions’ strategies. You have proven management skills - creating finance plans, managing budgets, supporting a development of strategies and a very strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques as well as proficiency with financial statement analysis and projection.

We expect you to have a strong background of business controlling and ability to lead in a positive and energetic atmosphere. Experience from industrial manufacturing would be an advantage and you have excellent interactive skills in communication and negotiation. You have suitable education for example M.Sc. in Accounting or Economics or demonstrated experience of managing complex budgeting and forecasting techniques as well as proficiency with IFRS financial statement analysis and projection. Company language is English, and we expect you to be fluent in writing and speaking both English and Finnish.
