to join our Business and Market Intelligence team at Metsä Tissue.

What do you get to do?

As a Channel Insight Manager, you will have a key role in supporting our consumer business in achieving profitable growth by providing valuable insights. You will be developing channels globally by supporting management, sales and marketing with high-quality analyses thanks partly to improved data management.

You will be responsible for developing data management in Metsä Tissue Business and Market Intelligence by supporting in data pipeline creation, and by making and improving analyses and reporting in relevant tools. You will have a leading role in the related development work and potential projects.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Coaching and supporting organisation in data driven decision making and argumentation

  • Supporting management and sales in increasing and optimizing volumes and pricing by providing valuable insights based on in-depth analysis of relevant data

  • Identifying solutions by analyzing data/insight from various sources to support regional sales teams in their efforts to develop the business with local channels and key customer groups

  • Supporting the operations to achieve yearly and longer-term financial targets, profit development per key customer group and selected sales and brand targets

  • Developing and implementing new reports and tools for sales to improve the business

  • Supporting in varying strategic development topics and projects

You will report to Business Development Director, and you will be located in Espoo Head Office.

What you need to succeed?

We are looking for a proactive team player with good business understanding. We trust that you are analytical, structured and have good financial understanding. Drawing data from various sources, analyzing it to find alternative solutions and make informed proposals to develop the business is something you enjoy. You are able to turn the data into actionable insights and fluently explain and sell solutions to different business stakeholders.

In addition to business acumen, we expect you to have strong interest in data handling and analysis and up to few years of relevant work experience. You have Master's degree in relevant field of study, such as in business or technology. Knowledge and understanding of different data analysis methods and tools is required in this role. To succeed in this role, you need to have strong communication and cooperation skills and be fluent in English.
