Data Management Specialist

 

to join our Planning Support and Development team, located in Espoo.

 

Our team is part of the Supply Chain Optimization department which provides steering and planning for the entire Neste Renewable Products supply chain to maximize profitability, from supply to production to sales, including inventory management. The Supply Chain Optimization department is part of the Renewable Products organization.

 

As a Data Management Specialist, you are responsible for our planning related master data management for Renewable Products. The main focus in master data management is to maintain material related master data in our planning tools, including both feedstock and product data with Supply and Sales organizations. In this role you will be leading the conversation with all relevant stakeholders in various business functions and supply chain management, and you will work closely with supply chain planners, supply and sales managers, compliance, public affairs and various development teams to create and maintain our planning market references. Additionally, you will participate in the development of our planning tools and processes from a network optimization perspective. Previous working experience in linear optimization models and data visualization softwares are highly appreciated.

 

In our team, you will be in a vital position to enable end-to-end supply chain planning and optimization. Implementing changes in master data requires understanding of the S&OP and S&OE models as well as the RP business as a whole. Your role in our team

 

  • Coordination and execution of master data updates (SAP, Anaplan, Spiral) including identification of development needs
  • Supply and Sales market reference creation and maintenance
  • Data collection & clean-up (pricing, logistic costs, contract data, supply and sales volume) to enable planning
  • Defining & designing needs for tool, data & reporting development
  • Leading / supporting prioritized initiatives
  • Acting as a SME for integrations towards planning tools both from business and IT perspective

 

Keys to success in this role

 

  • Master's degree on Business, Engineering or Technology 
  • Previous experience in either master data management or supply chain management
  • Expertise in linear optimization models or data analysis
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in English, both spoken and written
  • Teamwork skills and ability to steer your own work independently
  • Ability to work with complex and changing situations with flexible work attitude
  • Good interpersonal and networking skills
  • Analytical and fact driven approach 
  • Understanding on integrated ERP and planning tools & processes
  • Familiarity with SAP, Python, R, Snowflake, Spiral and Anaplan as well as with Google tools, MS Excel and Power BI
  • Responsible attitude with a safety-oriented mindset
