Location: Any twoday office (Helsinki, Tampere, Hyvinkää, Turku, Jyväskylä) with flexible remote working opportunities.

Salary range: Base salary ranges from 3000-6500 € + additional bonus based on your customer invoicing.

We are looking for Data Scientists in different stages of their careers (e.g. consultant to principal) to work in the forefront of data-driven change with leading Nordic organizations.


Responsibilities:

As a Data Scientist, you have a versatile role where you…

  • Give purpose to customers' data by using scientific methods, processes, and algorithms to apply advanced analytics solutions.
  • Work on projects related to forecasting sales, demand, and accounts receivables, you could also work with e.g. natural language processing.
  • Are a part of the team in our customer projects discovering customers' needs, putting together use cases, drawing up a project schedule,e and working with a team according to that to ensure things get done with high quality.


Who are you working with:

Your role is based in twoday Finland's Data & AI business unit with approximately 200 employees in versatile roles related to modern data & analytics.

Your colleagues & stakeholders:

  • You'll belong to a customer team, which is your home base and team with whom you spend most of your working time
  • You'll belong to at least one technology practice. Technology practices are communities of professionals with similar backgrounds focused on competence and offering development.
  • You'll have your own People Lead supporting your professional growth, career development, and wellbeing.
  • You'll work closely with customers, mainly Finland's largest enterprises in both private and public sectors in all major industries.


Key Skills in this Role:

As mentioned before, we have opportunities for Data Scientists in different stages of their career but since we are a consulting company, we expect that our Data Scientists can already work independently on our customer projects (after onboarding).

Here are the key criteria for the Data Scientist role (depending on seniority level):

  • Previous work experience in Data Science and/or Data Analytics
  • Experience from end-to-end solutions development
  • Experience from working in cloud environments
  • Skilled in Python
  • Skilled in analytics: being able to explore a problem, come to a solution, and communicate about it
  • Consultative way of working: trust-building communications, ability to transfer business needs into technical solutions, recommending new approaches.
  • Curiosity & willingness to learn and develop your expertise
  • Good communication skills at least in English and Finnish is considered an advantage


What does success look like in this role?During the first 6 months, you have:

  • Integrated into your new work community and are a great culture-add to our team
  • Reached a billing ratio of at least 50%, or you are likely to reach it soon
  • Your expertise has proven to be relevant to our customer projects
