Development Engineer, Processes and Systems

In ROL business unit we are currently taking big leap to develop our workshop operation processes and digitalization forward and support that with transparency created with Microsoft BI tools. To strengthen the development in this journey we are now looking for Development Engineer, Processes and Systems

In this position your focus will be on development of our Microsoft BI reports and acting as a global key user for selected new systems and reporting tools. You will be working with BU team consolidating the business requirements and ensuring new systems and tools will support us in our business transformation. In ROL we will work together with Area organizations in Matrix organization structure.

Your primary focus areas will be

• Responsible of developing selected processes further together with ROL BU and Area organizations

• ROL BU global key user in selected new systems and reporting tools, ensuring that these support our business requirements and are developed accordingly. This requires you to participate on development teams as ROL representative and lead ROL implementation in these including guiding and training of counterparts in our global organization

• You will work as a main specialist in ROL BU for Power BI reporting development to support business leadership and management

To be successful in this position

• Technical degree, B.Sc. or M. Sc. from relevant field

• Willingness and eagerness to learn new things combined with "can do" -attitude

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and good relationships with both external and internal parties

• Capability to work in matrix organization

• Your personal character includes analytical thinking and teamwork capabilities

• Experience in Operations or Quality - Understanding operations and quality processes

• Knowledge of Microsoft BI reporting tool is seen as an advantage

• Good spoken and written English language is necessary in this position.
