Development Manager (Mission Capability – product and service line)

to support the success of our professional team.

Our portfolio unit is responsible for Patria's products and services as well as their development and sales support. We offer you a unique, versatile and very international position in a growing and development-friendly company. You get to join an interesting phase in our company, where you get genuinely to build new things and develop both yourself and our processes to the next level. You are involved in major domestic and international projects in defense industry and you get to travel all over Europe in your work  You will be supported in your work by a team consisting of professionals both in Finland and globally.

Information about the role:

As a development manager your job description consists mostly of the coordination of international technical projects and participating in international consortiums’ and related stakeholders’ meetings. Your main tasks essentially include contractual work and project management and development responsibilities. These tasks include preparing and drafting contracts, contract management, change management and participating in contract negotiations. Projects are for instance, related to development of next generation and upgrade of current armoured platforms, including those able to operate in extreme climates and geographical environments

Competence requirements:

To be successful in the position, you have suitable technical experience, for example engineering or procurement experience.  You have previous experience in contractual work or willingness to learn it. Ability to produce technical content for contracts and experience in international projects or EU-funded projects is considered to your advantage. You communicate fluently in English between different stakeholders both verbally and in writing. Other language skills are considered an advantage.

A calm and systematic nature and the ability to react to changes are essential for your success in this position. You have excellent communication skills and communicate fluently with stakeholders from different cultures and backgrounds.
