Engineering Manager

Are you eager to lead and manage the whole EPCM consultant's engineering team and work closely with customers to achieve project targets?

We are now looking for an Engineering Manager for a permanent position in our Industry division's Project Management service line. The location is flexible, and your workplace can be for example in Vantaa, Porvoo, Turku, Tampere, Oulu or Kotka. Other Rejlers locations are also possible since we offer you a flexible hybrid working model.

What's in it for you?

You will be part of Rejlers Industry division's Project Management service line which is responsible for the delivery and management of investment projects for our customers.

Industry projects are versatile and interesting, and you will be leading the whole engineering work in the project. In your role you are responsible, for example, to set the basis of design and common ways of working as well as to secure the engineering work resourcing, schedule and budget.

In addition to your main task, you will support project sales teams to prepare technical material for the proposals and take the role of a project manager in some projects.

What kind of person we are looking for?

You love to take the leadership role and are an energetic team player. Ability to cope with extensive and complex project scopes in a holistic way and keep all fronts well aligned. Proven record and experience of leading multidisciplinary industrial engineering projects. Knowledge of interdependencies between different engineering disciplines as well as other functions in an industry project.

Working independently and proactively as well as having high standards for quality is natural for you. You are at home in international projects and the service mind set is a common way of working. Genuine enthusiasm to strive for success in projects as well as to be involved in constantly developing our ways of working.

We expect from you:

• Relevant technical M.Sc or B.Sc degree
• Experience of working as a lead engineer, engineering manager or project manager
• Proven record of leading an engineering team in EPC and or EPCM projects
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
• Initiative and persistent way of working
• Safety focused way of thinking
• Excellent English skills

We highly value the following:

• Good Finnish skills
• IPMA B/C or PMP certificate

Procurement, construction supervision or management tasks in industrial projects
