Filing and Prosecution Administration team is providing support to Nokia’s Patenting organization in building and managing the global patent portfolio. The team is responsible of filing patent applications, handling incoming and outgoing patent application prosecution correspondence, docketing and maintaining data in Intellectual Property Rights tools, interfacing with external associates globally, ensuring data quality and accuracy, tracking deadlines and working closely with internal patent practitioners.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Support and collaborate with practitioners in the filing and prosecution of patent applications
- Create and maintain accurate records and docketing in patent database
- File patent applications via electronic filing systems
- Prepare and process patent application related documents and forms as well as varied official correspondences for example responses to office actions
- Proactively manage patent prosecution docket, ensuring all deadlines are met in a timely manner
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and/or paralegal certificate (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Three or more years of European and PCT patent application filing and prosecution experience, filing of FI and GB applications a plus
- Exceptional attention to details and deadlines
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, time management skills, interpersonal skills, and team player attitude
- Professional, self-disciplined, efficient, and capable of working independently
