Finance Manager

 
to join our team in Stockholm, Sweden or in Espoo, Finland
 
Neste AB is our Swedish commercial entity that currently employs approximately 10 people. You can be located either in Stockholm or in Espoo. We have several interesting development projects ongoing, including starts of new businesses. Our work combines accountability, cooperation, and the desire to develop and renew. Neste Finance is future oriented organization that embraces development and takes advantage of technological advancements.

As a Finance Manager, you would be a part of Neste group finance organization. You will also work closely with Neste businesses, internal functions and external compliance partners. In your role, you will

  • Provide financial insights on the country company’s performance
  • Lead virtual country finance team (GL, AP, AR, AA) in their assignments and overall performance
  • Provide hands on support in local tax, data privacy, travel management and indirect procurement tasks
  • Ensure and give guidance on legal entity compliance with local rules and regulations as well as corporation guidelines
  • Coordinate local audits and ensure that financial statements are audited and filed according to local law
  • Coordinate the design of new business models from the local entity perspective
  • Act as a contact point for the local authorities and compliance partners

The best combination to succeed in this role

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Industrial Economics from the area of accounting
  • 3 to 5 years experience from a relevant finance position, preferably from a matrix organization
  • Preliminary understanding of IFRS and Swedish accounting standards
  • Good understanding of finance processes and relevant technologies e.g., SAP, Hyperion Financial Management and Planning
  • Hands on mentality, strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Fluent in English, fluency in Swedish is an asset
