Global Demand Analyst

We are looking for a Global Demand Analyst to join our Supply Chain Planning organization

You will be a member of the global demand planning team as well as of virtual regional planning teams in company’s one or two strategic growth markets. Your mission will be to elevate data-driven approach in region’s demand planning and forecasting processes to achieve higher accuracy of predictions and plans. For this role you should have a solid knowledge of data analytics, time-series forecasting and demand planning fundamentals combined with analytical mindset. You will report to Global Demand Planning Manager and regional Head(s) of Supply Chain in matrix.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure credible and accurate statistical forecasts through managing input data and optimizing models in forecasting system.
• Provide analytical support, statistical insights and recommendations.
• Run demand planning and forecasting related KPI reporting.
• Cooperate with different stakeholders in demand and supply planning.
• Work actively to promote deeper understanding of data and wider use of this in demand planning and forecasting by finding leads, raising insights and developing in-house tools and capabilities.

What we expect from you:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Industrial Engineering and Management or similar.
• Previous experience (1-3 years) from similar tasks in relevant field.
• Proven analytical skills, solid knowledge of data analytics and time-series forecasting combined with understanding of demand planning fundamentals.
• Advanced skills in Excel. Proficiency in using Python, R or other statistical programming language for data analysis. Knowledge of working with databases (SQL) and BI development (PowerBI, PowerQuery & DAX).
• Fluency in written and spoken English. Other languages (such as Finnish) are seen as an advantage.
• Self-motivated person with innate curiosity, strong problem-solving skills and the “can-do” attitude.
• Good communication, collaboration and presentation skills. Ability to explain complex issues in an easily understandable way and build relationships with relevant stakeholders.
