Junior Data Engineer

Would you be our next Junior Data Engineer? At this role you will work as a member of Posti’s centralized data domain team, which is part of the Data & Digital channels unit. We develop and maintain novel ways of utilizing Posti’s data for better decision making, better customer experience, and industry-leading efficiency. In this role, you will be maintaining and developing a huge Azure Synapse data & analytics platform. Work includes maintaining and developing data integrations and data models.

Would this be you?

• Passionate for learning and challenging yourself
• Interested in developing state of art data & analytics solutions
• Some background of data modelling, ELT/ETL, SQL and Python.
• Interest in cloud data platforms and tools like Azure Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake, Power BI etc.
• Ability to communicate fluently in different levels of organization
• Fluent verbal and written Finnish and English 
• Preferably but not obligatory a Master’s degree in economics, industrial engineering, computer science or similar

Succeeding in this position requires you to be good at structuring and scheduling your own work. You like to interact with business users, stakeholders, and teammates. You like to jump in at the deep end and challenge yourself on the journey to become data engineering professional. We appreciate some experience from the subject but more we value the drive and passion for learning and delivering.
