Order Delivery Coordinator

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, parts, service and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries. Application areas include rock drilling, rock cutting, loading, and hauling, tunnelling, and quarrying. Sandvik Tampere plant is a global technology and manufacturing center for rock drills and drill rigs.

At Rock Drills Business Unit we are now looking for a proactive and skilled Order Delivery Coordinator to further strengthen our operations in line with our growing business. This new permanent position is based in Tampere.

Your role

We are looking for an independent and professional Order Delivery Coordinator to assist with both handling incoming orders for Rock Drill Business Unit products, as well as handling outbound material flow to external and internal customers. Developing and managing the related order processes is a solid part of your role.

Validating commercial and technical data is a part of your order processing work, as well as coordinating transport arrangements and monitoring the transportation from order to delivery. Preparing export documentation and invoices in compliance with prevailing laws, regulations and agreements is an important part of your job.

In this role you also form understanding of Rock Drills Business Unit demand and supply planning. As a part of this you report and develop order and forecast statistics on regular basis, and have the ability to manage customers’ enquiries regarding to their orders and their status.

Communicating and providing information to both internal and external stakeholders, supporting sales organizations and working in close co-operation with production planning as well as other supply chain functions is a crucial part of your role.

About you and what we find important

You have a suitable educational background in commercial, supply chain management or logistics field. You are familiar with Lean ERP system. Knowledge of PowerBI is seen as an advantage. We expect you to have an understanding and experience on international trade and/or order - delivery processes. Experience within order handling, delivery documentation, invoicing, customs and/or transportation is required in this role.

You are able to work independently, as well as a member of a team. Succeeding in this position requires good interpersonal and team working skills, organizing skills, flexibility and ability to work under pressure. Your English and Finnish language skills are fluent, both written and spoken. Other language skills are seen as a benefit.
