Procurement Manager

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our Asset & Project Management team!

You will be responsible for continuous development of our procurement process and tools together with setting up and updating our standardized contract templates and contract terms used in projects. Your role is to support and execute main equipment procurements in our projects with Project teams.

Procurement manager is supporting all our country locations in similar role. Today our Project teams are located in Finland, Sweden and Baltics, but we are looking for expansion to also other locations.

Your daily tasks include:

• Working with commercial terms and contracts
• Making sure that procurement process is covered
• Participating in procurements and commercial negotiations
• Internal training for project procurement
• Supplier management and internal stakeholder work
• Checking supplier backgrounds, requirements and ratings
• Source for competition in procurement

To succeed in this position

You are a proactive person with the ability to utilize and organize networks. You have an ability to work independently and prioritize your work to achieve set targets. Among your other skills are teamwork and communication skills, also when working remotely or when traveling.

You have a Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. energy technology, industrial engineering etc.) and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in energy or process industry procurements, preferably working with projects.

Professional proficiency in English is mandatory and Finnish and Swedish language skills are an advantage.

This position is based in Vantaa, Finland.
