Metsä Board Supply Chain is looking for two fixed-term
until the end of 2024 to one of the Metsä Board's locations in Finland. Metsä Board's Sales and Operation Planning is responsible for the demand and capacity planning, run programs and production planning of Metsä Board's Finnish and Swedish production lines. Production Planners work in all mill locations forming a team of 12 specialists, reporting to Production Planning Manager.
What's your role in the future Metsä?
Trimming the confirmed order mass and creating a run program for the board machine and / or sheeting plant with a minimum trim waste
Utilizing Mill Free stock whenever possible
Work in close co-operation with mill production, demand planning and other stakeholders
Developing and implementing Metsä Group's unified business process standards at all Metsä Board mills
Participating and managing development projects as separately agreed
Working as part of a team across mill borders (back up network).
What are we looking for?
We expect you to have position relevant education and preferably previous working experience in production planning. Experience in production is seen as an advantage. You have experience from SAP or similar ERP system as well as experience from Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) e.g. Tieto TIPS. You are a reliable team player with a systematic result-oriented approach. To be successful in this position you will need to have good social and communication skills. Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Finnish is required. You also need to have good English skills.
