We are looking for forward-thinking
QA Lead for IT business systems and APIs
to work in Ponsse Group Global Digital Services & IT Team in Finland.
In this position, you will play a central role in ensuring the quality of our IT business systems and integrations in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You'll take ownership of QA practices across key IT platforms (such as PLM, CRM and ERP related systems) and the APIs that connect them. You'll design and implement robust quality processes and test automation solutions - you'll be the person who's not afraid to get into the weeds to make sure they work, and we get the job done.
You will lead hands-on testing and develop practices for both functional and non-functional testing of IT business systems and APIs. Understanding of API development and testing will be essential in this role. You will also take part in shaping the future of our test automation and CI/CD pipeline strategies, especially as they relate to seamless API quality. What becomes to AI, you will explore and apply AI-based QA solutions, such as intelligent test generation, test impact analysis, or anomaly detection and log analysis. Come up with your ideas!
Required qualifications in this role:
- At least 3 years of experience in a QA lead or test management role, including hands-on experience with API testing and quality management
- Background in testing and quality assurance for IT systems such as ERP, PLM, CAD, and HRIS, and related APIs
- Experience on different agile quality assurance frameworks, methods and best practices
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and continuous delivery practices
- Good understanding of software life cycle management from the quality point of view
- Good communication skills and a fluency in both spoken and written English and Finnish
As a person, you enjoy leading, supporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners. You are proactive and take initiative. You can manage large entities but also pay attention and tackle smaller practical tasks. You also have strong problem-solving skills and you see solutions rather than problems.

Your working location will be in Finland - Tampere, Kuopio, Iisalmi, Kajaani or Vieremä, and we are working hybrid model. Some amount of travelling will be required in this role.
