Quality Assurance Lead

Are you interested in Automation Testing and improving testing processes? This could be a great opportunity for you as we are looking for a Quality Assurance Lead for our client Fatman Oy to join their diverse community. This position is permanent and starts as soon as the right candidate is found. In this position, you will work from the Fatman’s Espoo Office.

Responsibilities

As a QA Lead, you will lead Fatman and your colleagues toward automation testing. You own, maintain, and improve the overall test strategy in a microservice environment. You design and create automated test cases, test data, and other necessary test assets. You are responsible for owning the business solutions within the core area and ensuring high-quality software testing.

Also, you are responsible for:

• Working on test and process automation to enable a continuous flow of value to the Customer (including CI in DevOps mode).
• Assuring proper test coverage, including technical risks, NFRs, and Customer specific configurations and requirements, building on automated test reporting and metrics.

You will continuously improve Fatman’s testing processes and tools as well as their ways of working within the Agile Release Train for achieving even greater results in the future. You will work closely with other software development team members such as developers, architects, designers, and Product Owners.

What do we expect from you?

You have at least 3-5 years of experience in automation testing including system, regression, E2E, and user acceptance testing. You have strong hands-on experience in the development and execution of test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, test cases, requirement traceability matrix, and report generation. You communicate fluently in English both written and oral.

Also, you have professional experience in the following technologies:

• Specflow or Gherkin
• Selenium, or equivalent automation frameworks.
• Unit testing frameworks for .NET (NUNIT etc.)
• API testing tools (POSTMAN, etc.)
• C#
• Azure
• Github
• SQL

Knowledge of document DB (NoSQL, DDD, CQRS, POM) is considered an advantage.

The salary range in this position is from 3500 to 4300 euros and is negotiable.
