San Francisco’s award-winning international in-house team consists of top communications and PR professionals –  we have six different nationalities in our team. We work in a variety of languages to help companies and brands get covered by the media while creating effective PR and communication strategies. Our work drives business growth and proactively generates national and international media coverage. Our group consists of San Francisco Oy and its subsidiary, Valosan Oy. We also work closely with the Startup100 media brand (owned by a non-profit Startup Finland ry), which we can leverage in our prospecting work and marketing (a database of 3000+ startups). The job contract will be done with Valosan Oy.  

Now, we’re looking for a data-savvy Sales Development Representative (SDR), which we call a "Sales Hacker," to join our team in Helsinki, Finland.

You get to:

  • Work with innovative and creative people and reach out to leaders of companies developing world-changing technologies

  • Fuel our growth in Finland and internationally by introducing our tech-driven agency to new prospective clients

  • Spend a minimum of 2-4 hours per day to actively reach out to potential clients by phone, LinkedIn, email, and other means

  • Work closely with our CEO and the rest of our team to optimize our sales approach and prospecting process

  • Dive into our extensive data and build connections and automation to get the best possible sales and marketing value from our data

  • Attend startup and tech events and participate actively in the Finnish startup scene to market our services

  • In the future, possibility to start building and leading our international sales team

Job requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Enthusiastic about sales and the grit to make sales meetings happen for our team, even with the most hard-to-reach people

  • Fit in either of the two profiles:

    • A minimum of two years of successful B2B sales/prospecting experience in comms/marketing/professional services field

    • A recent graduate with a Master's degree from a reputable university, with top grades (business or other)

  • Experience in working with data (studies apply) and online tools to use the data in sales/marketing

  • You are open and honest with your team members and clients, and you love to work as part of a team.

  • Working proficiency in English (English is our official internal language)

  • You have great organizational skills and are able to effectively work on multiple projects and sales cases in parallel

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of digital advertising and analytics tools (Google, LinkedIn, Meta, etc.) and media planning

  • Working proficiency in Finnish or other Nordic languages is considered a plus.
