Sales Manager

To enhance our growth in performance solutions business, we are now looking for an experienced Sales Manager focusing on furnace imaging and boiler diagnostics systems and related industrial image processing-based applications.  


You are the key player ensuring the successful development of sales through our OEM and distributor channels globally for the steel industry and energy production. The preferred location is our Tampere office, but you will be networking and travelling globally, so other locations can be considered as well. 


As a Sales Manager your work consists of developing and evaluating the sales channels for our furnace imaging and boiler diagnostics portfolio. Accelerating the business with our existing partners and negotiating and finalizing the agreements with new partners together with our global regional sales organization is important part of your daily work. You will also be influencing our product development and R&D by communicating and verifying the customer requirements from your area of responsibility. In this position you have an opportunity to obtain international experience when working with our partner network and our regional sales organization around the world. 




The position of a Sales Manager requires several years of experience in sales or business development tasks in B2B environment, preferably within steel or energy sector. You have a proven track record in OEM channel sales and new customer acquisition.  We see that you have a suitable M.Sc./B.Sc. degree and steel industry or boiler plant know-how. Knowledge about camera systems and imaging software is considered as an asset 


You are a result-oriented professional who has the ability to work with long-term targets and strategy. Customer-oriented mindset is a key element to succeed in this role, you have the capability to turn customer needs into commercial applications. You are a resource for our partners and customers in terms of new ideas, products and services. This requires a strategic perspective and good planning skills as well as a solution-oriented mindset. Negotiation skills and contract knowledge is a natural part of the job, and you should enjoy working with technically advanced products. As our partner network is global, you should be prepared to travel to meet our customers. 


With your good communication and interpersonal skills, you are able to build and keep up good relationships with both external and internal clients. Good command of English language is essential in this position, other language skills are considered as an asset.
