We are looking for new talents to join our Strategy & Market Intelligence team. Valio's Strategy & Market Intelligence team supports Valio top leadership and businesses in strategy development and execution and ensures that Valio strategy remains up-to-date in the rapidly changing business environment.
This position offers you an opportunity to be in the center of our global business, shaping Valio's strategic direction and providing insights that drive business decisions. You will work in close cooperation with a wide group of senior stakeholders from our business units, functions, and markets globally, supporting them in strategic planning and business development. The role provides excellent growth and career opportunities within Valio.
To succeed in this role, you need to be an analytical and self-driven team player, who has a passion for strategic analysis and business development. You should have the ability to conduct complex analyses with internal and external data and translate them into actionable insights that can be used in strategic decision-making. You know how to lead and manage projects in cross-functional teams.
Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough market, competitor and internal analyses to support strategic decision-making and identification of new business opportunities
- Monitoring and reporting on market and industry developments, and acting as a strategic sparring partner for our businesses
- Driving and supporting strategy and business development projects in collaboration with Valio business units and functions
- Developing and managing strategy and market intelligence tools and ways of working, incl. e.g. metrics, templates, reports, PowerBI dashboards, financial models, databases and AI tools
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a global company or management consulting / investment banking firm
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex matters into clear, actionable insights and conclusions
- Experience from leading complex projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to influence and inspire others
- Can-do-attitude, resilience and ability to work under pressure
- Advanced Excel skills, PowerBI skills considered a plus
- Fluency in Finnish and English, other languages considered a plus
- Master's degree in relevant field
- Experience from Consumer Goods industry and/or M&A projects considered a plus

The position is permanent and located in Valio headquarters in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. We work in a hybrid model that takes into account the employee's and team's wishes for office and remote work.
