Fire Sprinkler Site Supervisor — Hyperscale Data Centre — Helsinki

Contract: 12 to 18 month fixed term contract

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading fire suppression contractor for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead fire sprinkler installation on a fast paced hyperscale data centre project in Helsinki.
This is a hands on, site based leadership role, managing up to 35 sprinkler installers and subcontractors through a live, mission critical construction environment. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the installation programme, from drawing interpretation and daily work planning through to testing, commissioning, and handover.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate fire sprinkler installers and subcontractors on site

Plan daily work activities, allocate labour and materials, and track progress against the construction programme

Interpret drawings, specifications, BIM coordinated services layouts, and method statements

Oversee installation of sprinkler pipework, heads, valves, pumps and interfaces, supports, seismic bracing, drainage, and associated components

Coordinate closely with mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, and commissioning teams to avoid clashes and maintain access requirements

Maintain high standards of workmanship, housekeeping, labelling, and protection of completed work in a live or critical environment

Ensure compliance with relevant fire protection standards, local regulations, manufacturer requirements, and site specific quality procedures

Lead toolbox talks, brief teams on RAMS, enforce safe systems of work, and report hazards or incidents promptly

Carry out quality inspections, manage snagging, and support testing, flushing, pressure testing, commissioning, and handover documentation

Monitor materials, plant, deliveries, and labour productivity, escalating shortages, design issues, and programme risks early

Keep accurate site records, including daily reports, timesheets, inspection records, and progress updates
Essential Experience and Skills

Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Foreman, Supervisor, or senior installer preferred

Experience delivering commercial, industrial, mission critical, or large scale construction projects, data centre experience highly desirable

Strong knowledge of sprinkler installation practices, pipework systems, supports, testing, and commissioning requirements

Ability to read and work from construction drawings and coordinated services information

Demonstrable leadership skills, with the ability to organise teams and maintain productivity under programme pressure

Strong commitment to health, safety, quality, and housekeeping

Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with site management and other trades

Proficiency in English
