We have an exciting opportunity for a Software QA Specialist to join our team!

Who are we looking for and what is the role all about?

We are seeking a consultant-minded Software QA Specialist with a strong background in software development. The ideal candidate will have several years of hands-on experience as a software developer, along with a comprehensive understanding of test automation and quality assurance.

You should be familiar with technologies and tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright, Python/Pytest, Docker, Linux, CI/CD services (such as Gitlab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity) and/or Flutter test frameworks.

Our testing targets range from embedded devices and AI applications to web/mobile solutions and distributed cloud systems. In addition to automation tasks, you will collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and propose comprehensive, tailored solutions that align with their software development strategies. You are able to develop and implement a holistic testing approach that considers the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring adaptability to various solutions rather than being confined to specific tools or methods.

In this role you would:

• Create high level test plans and QA strategies for products
• Evaluate the level of automation and its cost-effectiveness
• Advise how to organize test cases and related testing materials
• Manage test results and reports in an agile and purposeful manner
• Define actions and responsibilities when issues are identified
• Prioritize different testing contents based on importance and urgency
• Produce high-quality, well-documented materials and diagrams
• Enjoy advising, mentoring and presenting
• Carry out special QA campaigns such as performance and reliability testing

We expect you to have experience in selecting the most effective tools, techniques, and methodologies to ensure top-notch testing and quality assurance for customers. The position typically involves either transitioning from one project to another as a visiting consultant or taking on a responsible role within a broader QA process for a specific product or project.

You stay up-to-date on rapidly evolving landscape of testing tools and are eager to experiment with new concepts. You have a keen eye for test case readability, maintainability and relevance, and strive for minimal test automation complexity.

Our recruitment process includes 1 or 2 interviews, where we discuss both technical and work personality related topics. In some cases we use small technical assignments also.
