to work in Ponsse Technology and R&D team in Finland.

Join our CI/CD DevOps team supporting the development of cutting-edge forest machine control systems. You'll help us build and maintain efficient, modern deployment pipelines (CI/CD) - You'll be part of a team that values fresh perspectives, ideas and backgrounds.

Experience in any of the following areas are relevant:
Required qualifications in this role:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Software Engineering, or a related field

Hands-on experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment

Good understanding of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies

Good language skills in English (spoken and written); Finnish language skills are considered an advantage
Knowledge which we appreciate in the future but not mandatory:

AI skills and modern tools to further automate our process

Cybersecurity knowledge and best practices

Familiarity with over-the-air (OTA) update mechanisms
Other technical skills which are an advantage but not mandatory:

Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for task automation

Experience with Microsoft Azure, Git, and Azure DevOps

Infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible

Experience in Windows application development and deployment
As a person, you are proactive, technically skilled and take initiative. You also have strong problem-solving skills to solve problems and work in a diverse team and see solutions rather than problems.

You will be part of the Ponsse's Technology and R&D team in Control Systems organization, reporting to Engineering Manager, Simulations and Verification.
Your working location will be in Finland Kajaani, Kuopio, Tampere or Vieremä, but we are working hybrid model. Some amount of travelling will be required in this role.
