Tax & Legal Technology Transformation Lead
Build something that truly changes how Tax and Legal work gets done. Drive adoption, connect people and technology, and turn strategy into everyday impact.
Join KPMG Finland to lead our Tax & Legal Technology operations at a pivotal growth stage. We are a dynamic, cross-functional team combining tax, legal, consulting, and technology expertise to deliver smarter solutions. We are now looking for a business-driven Technology Leader to play a central role in accelerating our capabilities and scaling our impact.
Our Tax & Legal (T&L) Technology Team supports all T&L service lines in their technology operations. This includes both client-facing and internal initiatives aimed at delivering tax services in a smarter, more efficient way. We work closely with IT Infrastructure and actively design, build, and implement solutions that enhance both client value and employee experience. Our focus is on advisory, innovation, and hands-on execution to ensure future readiness.
We are on a strong growth path: today a team of five, with the ambition to grow during FY2027. This creates a unique opportunity to shape direction, ways of working, and culture from the ground up.
Your role
As T&L Technology Lead, you will own and drive change management across T&L Finland and Estonia (300+ professionals). The role is primarily internal, focused on enabling the business, but closely connected to client work as adoption and transformation go hand in hand.
You will act as a connector and orchestrator across different competence areas - ensuring that technology efforts are aligned, visible, and prioritized based on business needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and driving change management across T&L Finland
- Identifying, piloting, and scaling new tools, technologies, and ways of working
- Training and supporting teams in adoption of new solutions
- Acting as the T&L representative in local and international KPMG forums
- Building transparency across all T&L tech initiatives to improve prioritization and control
- Connecting different tech specialists to create synergies across service lines
- Leading prioritization and management of tech resources and initiatives
- Encouraging leadership and teams to actively drive change (not just follow it)
- Supporting business in technology-enabled sales and embedding tech into core processes
What we offer
- A true opportunity to reshape an industry: replace "how it has always been" with "how it should be"
- A role focused on making change happen, not just planning it
- A strong platform, tools, and team to enable real impact
- A growth journey where you can shape both strategy and execution
- To ensure work‑life balance, working with us is flexible. KPMG offers you a wide range of employee benefits as well as comprehensive services that support your well-being at work. The role requires a lot from you, but we are committed to providing you with the support you need to perform at your best.
What we are looking for
Experience & skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Tax, Legal, or a related advisory role
- Experience in change management, transformation, or business development
- Strong understanding of current and emerging tools
- Good understanding of internal processes and ability to build networks across the organization
- Excellent communication skills in English; Finnish is an advantage
Personal profile:
- Curious and forward-looking - eager to explore new technologies and ways of working
- Strong people skills - able to engage stakeholders who may be busy or resistant to change
- Structured and pragmatic - able to manage multiple initiatives under pressure
- Independent and proactive - comfortable building new ways of working without ready-made models
- Business-driven mindset - focuses on enabling business goals, not personal or technical agendas
- Connector mindset - brings people, ideas, and capabilities together
Importantly, you are a visible, business-oriented leader who drives adoption and collaboration.
