Technical Sales Engineer

Schneider Electric is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer - Datacenter solutions to grow our Secure Power business across Finland. If you are commercially driven, technically curious, and motivated to help partners and customers solve real IT infrastructure challenges, this role is for you. You will work closely with our customers, resellers, distributors, and IT partners to strengthen adoption of APC by Schneider Electric solutions - from singlephase UPS and racks to edge computing and datacenter power infrastructure.

 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building new business, understanding local market dynamics, and influencing partners to choose Schneider Electric.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow Schneider/APC market share in Finland, especially in data‑center white‑space.
  • Identify new opportunities in the Finnish IT channel.
  • Support partners with both technical and commercial guidance.
  • Drive commercial activity with distributors, resellers, and customers.
  • Position Schneider/APC as the preferred choice within customer organizations.
  • Ensure partners are equipped with the skills and structure to sell Schneider/APC solutions.
  • Serve as the technical contact for customer discussions, RFPs, and solution scoping.

 

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in technical or channel sales, partner management, or IT hardware sales with datacenter expertise.
  • Solid understanding of the IT ecosystem (resellers, distributors, OEMs, enterprise customers).
  • Strong commercial mindset and passion for partner growth.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn technical concepts (power, cooling, IT infrastructure).
  • Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills across technical and commercial audiences.
  • Experience with UPS, cooling, datacenter, or IT infrastructure solutions is a plus.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English.
