We are looking for a dedicated Testing Specialist at Hitachi Energy Oy, Transformers in Vaasa. You will be performing routine testing, type testing, and special tests on power transformers and reactors in accordance with electrical safety regulations, standards, technical specifications and test procedures. In this position, you are occasionally in close contact with customers from all over the world during factory acceptance tests.

Your responsibilities
- Performing routine testing, type testing, and special tests on power transformers and reactors in accordance with electrical safety regulations, standards, technical specifications, and test procedures on both finished products as well as semi-finished products.
- Leading factory acceptance tests together with project managers in close contact with customers
- Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.

Your background
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering
- Strong organizing skills, good problem-solving ability and ability to manage multiple tasks
- The ability to work in teams and good proactive communication skills.
- Self-motivated and customer oriented
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Finnish
- Willingness to work in two shifts
- A natural desire for continuous improvement
- A flexible approach to unexpected situations
- Basic knowledge of the electrical and technical properties of power transformers and reactors is considered as an advantage
