KONE's Global Spares Supply (GSS) plans, sources and delivers quality spare parts and service materials to KONE frontlines and distributors across the globe. We stock over 65,000 materials across multiple Delivery Centers and deliver over 1,000,000 item lines per year. GSS plays a key role in enabling our Service business to achieve sustainable success with customers.
We are now looking for a Business Intelligence Trainee / Specialist to join the Change & Development team in the KONE Global Spares Supply Unit.
This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about data analysis and visualization, and eager to develop their skills in specifying data pipelines, creating or adjusting data models, and generating or modifying reports using Power BI. Additionally, you will be active in the Citizen development initiative within the department. Citizen development focuses on BI, but you will also have the opportunity to branch out into process automation with Microsoft Power Platform.
The aim is to work from January to December 2026, details to be agreed before start.
In this position you get to:
- Collaborate with Supply Chain development team to specify reporting needs.
- Use report need specifications to design and help in implementing data pipelines.
- Create and adjust data models to ensure accurate and efficient data representation.
- Develop insightful and interactive reports using Power BI, and possibly in other solutions
- Support the citizen development program, empowering department members to leverage data tools. Opportunity to support in Power Platform, e.g. Power Automate.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BI processes and practices.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Basic knowledge of data modeling and visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
- Good skills with Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
It's an asset if you have:
- Experience with SAP ECC data models.
- Experience with Databricks SQL and database management.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, e.g. Power Automate and Apps
- Knowledge of citizen development methods & way of working.
- Spare part supply chain process and business understanding.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field.
