This team is established within the retail sales organization to strengthen the content and impact of customer-facing work. Its focus is on structured planning, strong implementation support, and ensuring that agreed business results are delivered. The team drives a more effective use of data in decision-making and improves how insights are applied in business planning, growth initiatives, and customer development. Close collaboration with marketing, key accounts, supply chain, and finance is central to the way the team operates. The team is led by a Senior Customer Development Manager. The position is permanent and full-time based in our Sipoo office.

How you will make an impact
We are on a journey to create Future of Sales with a high focus on strong Customer Focus & Execution. Digitalization will change how we all operate within sales, and we will further invest in new tools and analytics capabilities. You will be playing a key role in extracting data-driven insights and transforming them into compelling stories that draw conclusions, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.
Key responsibilities will be
- Manage data and turn data into insights for broader customer development and category development purposes.
- Acting as a central point between sales and marketing to utilize data for customer category development. We expect you to join customer meetings to share your expertise and help our customers grow.
- Responsible for driving internal trainings for data tools and act as a champion regarding data tool development
- Act as a Finnish member of the European Data & Insight working group to share and learn best practices across Europe
- Support the build and evolution of Net Revenue Management (NRM) within Arla Finland
What will make you successful
You are a data-driven individual with a strong ability to comprehend numerical data. As a problem solver, you can interpret data to guide organizational strategy and decision-making. In addition, you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which are essential for working closely with stakeholders and presenting your findings internally and to customers.
Whether you are at an entry-level or have more experience, we hope you have a passion for data, and you are driven to dig deep into data, derive insights, and transform them into actionable recommendations to benefit both the business and your colleagues. Having some knowledge of food science may be advantageous.
Preferably you have
- A bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Experience as a Category Analyst or in a similar analytical role within the retail or consumer goods industry is seen as an advantage (knowledge of pricing disciplines and tools is a plus)
- Interest in the FMCG or retail industry
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software for example Power BI, SQL (a plus)
- The ability to use English and Finnish fluent written and verbal
