We are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking Data Architect to join our Technology Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing data solutions for our software products and customer deliveries in close collaboration with our development teams. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our data solutions are secure, scalable, high-quality and aligned with both business goals and company strategy. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting the adoption of AI capabilities in our products and in our daily work.
Main responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain the information system architecture of Enerim’s software products
- Design, develop and maintain data solutions and data models for our products
- Ensure the security, performance and robustness of our data solutions
- Ensure data quality, integrity and availability across systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into data solutions
- Guide and support development teams in data management related matters
- Monitor, evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and trends in data architecture and data platforms
Expectations:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture or data engineering
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing data, software or solution architecture
- Experience with data streaming and processing technologies (e.g. Kafka, NATS.io, Azure Event Hubs)
- Deep understanding of databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
- Software development skills (C# and/or Python preferred)
- Experience with modern data lake or data warehouse architecture is an advantage
- Understanding of data architecture best practices for enabling analytics and AI-driven software features is considered an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Professional-level proficiency in English; Finnish and/or Swedish are considered an advantage
