What this role is about
This role exists to ensure that our employees, both in Lahti and across our global subsidiaries, have reliable, secure and well‑functioning ICT tools every day. As an ICT Specialist, you play a key role in keeping our endpoints secure, our users supported and our ICT services running smoothly.
You will work in a modern ICT environment built around cloud services, automated device management, and strong cybersecurity principles. Your contribution directly impacts productivity and the overall employee experience at Kemppi.
Your responsibilities

On‑site ICT support at Kemppi's Lahti office
-
Remote support for subsidiaries and international offices
-
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently
-
Providing user guidance, daily support and onboarding new employees into ICT tools and processes
-
Installing, configuring and maintaining workstations, mobile devices and other end‑user equipment
-
Device management, ensuring endpoint security, compliance and lifecycle management
-
Developing and improving processes and practices within your area (e.g. endpoint management, user support workflows and local support procedures)

Participation in ICT development projects as part of the Core Services team.
What success looks like in this roleDuring the first 6 months:

You have taken full ownership of day‑to‑day support tasks in Lahti and remote subsidiaries

You are independently handling common endpoint issues and supporting users confidently
-
You understand our device lifecycle, Intune environment and core ICT processes
-
You have improved at least one local support practice or workflow within your scope
By your one‑year anniversary:

You manage Kemppi's endpoint environment with confidence and actively develop it further

You have taken responsibility for selected areas (e.g. device compliance, onboarding processes, user support tooling)

You contribute to ICT projects and bring forward improvement ideas that enhance user experience and operational efficiency

You are a trusted partner for local teams and an important part of the global ICT community.
Required skills

Strong customer‑service mindset and excellent communication skills

Structured, independent and proactive approach to work

Experience in ICT support, troubleshooting and end‑user device lifecycle management

Ability to support users with varying technical skill levels

Good written and spoken Finnish and English

Broad understanding of ICT infrastructure technologies and their practical day‑to‑day management in a generalist capacity

Ability to document work clearly and follow established ICT processes.

Experience with cloud services (M365, Intune, Azure, AWS)

Familiarity with Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS

Interest in automation, endpoint‑management tools and modern device security

Experience working in structured ICT environments and service processes
