UPM Adhesive Materials is now looking for a Manager, Communications to join our Marketing, Sustainability and Communications (MSC) team. The position is located in Helsinki, Finland.

What you will do  

• Manage and plan global change and employee communications activities to support strategic business initiatives and targets

• Establish consistent tone of voice and messaging across all content

• ​Manage and develop UPM Adhesive Materials internal channels

• Create and publish high-quality written and visual content that engages internal target audience

• Organize, execute and facilitate internal events including strategy events, quarterly calls and town halls

• Consult and support leaders in leadership and change communication

• Collaborate with HR, leadership, marketing and regional communications to align messaging and support strategic goals

• Measure the success of communications activities

• Contribute to external communications: Support external communications activities by preparing materials and responding to media inquiries

Who you are  

• You have a 5+ years of experience in Communications with expertise in acting as a communications business partner in strategic change initiatives   

• You have excellent project management skills and proven ability to work in a demanding matrix organization environment 

• You have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills

• You have strong visual storytelling skills

• You are comfortable using different digital platforms

• You have self-driven, proactive, and result-orientated way of working and you enjoy working in a dynamic fast-paced international working environment

• You have a creative and innovative mindset, and you are a strong team player 

• You are fluent in English, other languages are an asset
