We are now looking for a
MEDIA SALES MANAGER
to strengthen our Stockmann Media Sales team and to take our retail media sales to the next level.
Stockmann has over 1,4 million loyal customers and reaches millions of gross contacts monthly across its retail media ecosystem. Our media channels include digital screens in department stores, big outdoor video walls in Helsinki Department Store, in-store audio and window visual media as well pop-up activations and events, website placements, newsletters, and social media.
This is a permanent position, with a workspace waiting for you at our Helsinki Flagship Store. We work in a hybrid model so app. 50% of the week your presence is greatly appreciated at the office.
Where is your expertise needed?
As our Media Sales Manager, your mission is to accelerate the growth of our retail media business by nurturing existing relationships, developing new customer pipelines, and driving high-quality sales that benefit both Stockmann and our partners. You will play a key role in translating Stockmann's retail media strategy into practical sales plans.
Your responsibilities are (but not limited to)
- Negotiate and close media deals to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Track and report on sales performance, pipelines, and campaign results
- Lead collaboration with our outsourced media sales partner to ensure smooth campaign execution
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Stockmann's retail media offering
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
In this role you will be the owner of the media sales process, aligning stakeholders, tenants, suppliers, and marketing teams to ensure excellence and consistency.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a sales-driven person with experience and understanding how to sell premium retail media solutions and deliver strong commercial results. You have a true passion for media and storytelling, and you know how to build meaningful partnerships.
Ideally your background is from digital advertising, media sales, retail media or agency (+4 years) and you have a proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

As a person you are thrived by development and continuous improvement, you tolerate incompleteness, and you see solutions rather than obstacles. Fluent written and spoken English and Finnish skills are needed in this position; Swedish skills are seen as a plus.
