Micro-Optics Designer

Responsibilities
In this role, you will develop and refine optical design capabilities related to microstructure fabrication, with a focus on refractive and/or diffractive optics. You will perform optical design tasks in customer projects and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle. The role includes close collaboration with other designers and cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, sales, and project management, as well as participating in customer communication together with the Sales and Project teams.

Requirements
M.Sc. (Tech) degree or higher in a relevant field (PhD considered an asset)
Experience in micro-optics and/or diffractive optics design
Knowledge of lithography, nano- and microstructure fabrication, and cleanroom processes is considered an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work proactively and systematically in a cross-functional environment
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
A customer- and goal-oriented mindset with the initiative to solve practical, hands-on engineering challenges
