Production Line Manager

• You will lead the daily work of a production team to achieve safety, quality, on-time delivery and productivity targets while monitoring metrics and taking corrective actions.
• You will run daily and monthly meetings, manage department resources and expertise, and drive continuous improvement using Lean tools, 5S and Kaizen.
• The role requires supervisory experience and a technical degree, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering, with industrial manufacturing experience.
• You must be fluent in Finnish and English and possess general IT and ERP/SAP skills along with strong problem-solving, communication and leadership abilities.

You lead the daily work of your own production team responsibly and with good motivation and by example, and you achieve the safety, quality, on-time and productivity goals set for you and your team. You monitor the situation of customer deliveries and production metrics on a daily basis and, if necessary, take corrective, preventive and improving actions.

You run your department's daily and monthly meetings and take care of the adequacy of your department's resources and expertise. Developing your own department using Lean tools is familiar to you and continuous improvement and 5s is self-evident for you. You participate in Kaizen events as a representative of your own department.

Experience as a supervisor is required and you will work alongside the line manager team. You will be briefed and introduced on the tasks and be supported and given opportunities to learn and develop in a friendly team.

Qualifications:

• Applicable technical education, Bachelor or Master Sc., Eng or equivalent
• Industrial Manufacturing Experience

Skills:

• Fluent Finnish and English language skills
• General IT skills and ERP-tool, SAP. Additionally some MFG process tools
• Problem-solving skills, ability to work on your own initiative and independently.
• Proactive work attitude and mindset.
• Great communication & interpersonal, collaboration and leadership skills.
