Schedule Manager, Finland

Do you thrive when complex projects come together through clear structure, smart sequencing, and collaboration across disciplines?

We are strengthening our Project Management Services department with an experienced Schedule Manager. This role offers a front-row seat to support complex industrial and data center projects in Finland and abroad.

Would you like to work at the heart of technically demanding projects where your planning expertise truly guides decisions, not just documents them?

This is your opportunity to shape how modern planning and project controls are applied in real, high-impact environments.

What the role is about

As a Schedule Manager, you will take ownership of planning and scheduling across the full project lifecycle.

Working as part of Granlund's project management organization, your work brings clarity, realism, and coordination to projects that involve multiple stakeholders, disciplines, and phases - from early design through commissioning.

Your schedules are not static plans, but active management tools that support decision-making, risk management, and successful delivery.

Your key responsibilities include

  • Creating and maintaining integrated project schedules covering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning

  • Coordinating planning inputs with project managers, designers, contractors, and suppliers

  • Leading schedule reviews, identifying critical path changes, and ensuring schedule quality

  • Tracking progress, analysing variances, and supporting recovery planning

  • Supporting cost management and earned value monitoring

  • Preparing clear, well-structured schedule deliverables for internal and external stakeholders

  • Contributing to the development of our planning practices, tools, and digital workflows

Why Join Granlund?

We are a market leader in MEP design in Finland, with over 60 years of experience and a strong forward-looking mindset. We are also the leading data center designer and consultant in the Nordic countries. But what we are especially proud of is our employees truly enjoy working with us year after year.

With us you get to develop your expertise, which will keep you at the forefront of development and will certainly help you in your career later. You will also help our society take significant steps in the green transition.

Our culture values clarity, responsibility, and helping each other succeed. We trust our experts, encourage open dialogue, and believe that the best results are achieved through collaboration, not hierarchy.

How we make your working life better

At us, planning is not a support function - it is a core part of how we deliver successful projects. There is no doubt that with us, your expertise will be valued.

  • You will work on major international industrial and data center projects. This gives you direct experience with complex, high-profile projects that accelerate your professional growth.

  • As part of a growing team combining technical planning expertise, digital tools, and practical project leadership, you benefit from a collaborative environment that sharpens your skills and expands your network.

  • You will have real influence on how modern planning, project controls, and 4D/5D methods are applied in live projects, which means your contributions directly improve project outcomes and operational practices.

  • We believe you'll find our broad project portfolio both challenging and fulfilling. Plus, we take your aspirations seriously and include you in projects that match your goals.

In addition, we offer you competitive employee benefits selected together with our employees to support everyday life.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who has worked in scheduling, project controls, or construction/project management, ideally in large industrial or technical environments.

Key strengths we value:

  • Solid experience in project scheduling and coordination

  • Good understanding of construction and/or engineering workflows

  • Strong Primavera P6 skills (or ability to learn quickly) and understanding of BIM based planning, 4D/5D use cases, or model supported workflows

  • Ability to apply structured planning practices based on common international standards and processes

  • Familiarity with cost management, progress measurement, or earned value management

  • Clear communication, structured working style, and ability to lead without formal authority

  • Fluent English (Finnish is an advantage but not required)

While we don't expect you to be a perfect match, we are looking for someone eager to grow into this role over the next few years with the close support of our current team.

Would you like to become our colleague?
