Service Manager
Location: Any twoday office (Helsinki, Tampere, Hyvinkää, Turku, Jyväskylä, Oulu, Lappeenranta) with flexible remote working opportunities.
Salary range: Base salary ranges from 4500 - 7000€ + additional bonus based on your customer invoicing.

We are looking for a Service Manager who combines strong service delivery expertise, solid business understanding, and a true customer-centric mindset. In this role, you will lead and continuously improve service operations, ensure high customer satisfaction, manage SLAs and governance frameworks, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance service value. You confidently coordinate cross-functional teams, drive operational excellence, and act as a trusted partner to your customers.
Responsibilities:
As a Service Manager, you will:

Act as the primary contact for service customers, ensuring high satisfaction through structured communication, service reviews, and SLA management.

Ensure incidents, requests, and changes are handled efficiently and according to agreed processes and contracts.

Own and continuously improve service delivery frameworks, reporting, KPIs, and governance practices.

Coordinate consultants supporting lifecycle services and standardize tools and ways of working.

Drive operational efficiency through automation, self-service, and process improvements.

Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and proactively manage service renewals and expansions.

Your role is based in twoday Finland's Data & AI business unit with approximately 200 employees in versatile roles related to modern data & analytics.
Your colleagues & stakeholders:

You'll belong to a customer team, which is your home base and team with whom you spend most of your working time

You'll belong to at least one technology practice. Technology practices are communities of professionals with similar backgrounds focused on competence and offering development

You'll work closely with customers, mainly Finland's largest enterprises in both private and public sectors in all major industries.

The following skills and competencies will help you succeed in this role:

Technology field related skills:
high-level understanding and general knowledge of cloud platforms and related technologies (e.g. ADF, Snowflake, dbt, Fabric) as well as data warehouses (e.g. ETL), reporting systems and related technologies (e.g. PowerBI).

Structured and proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement.

Strong customer and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, manage conflicts, and present KPIs effectively.

Operational leadership experience, including coordinating teams, prioritizing work, and driving standardized, efficient service delivery.

Commercial awareness, understanding contracts, SLAs, renewals, and identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities.

Service management expertise (ITIL or similar), including SLA governance, service reporting, process development, and familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., Jira Service Management, ServiceNow).

Language skills: Many of our current customer engagements require Finnish, though we also run projects where the working language is English.
