We are looking for experienced slaughterers for HKFoods' Outokumpu location for the season!
Responsibilities
With 110 years of experience, HKFoods makes life tastier – today and tomorrow. With nearly 3,000 professionals, HKFoods prepares responsible and locally produced food for consumers' various mealtimes. Well-known brands in Finland include HK®, Kariniemen® and Via®. HKFoods is also developing a more climate-friendly way of producing food.
The work is very physical and routine, and applicants are required to have previous experience in similar tasks, as well as good physical fitness. The work is done independently on the production line as part of the rest of the team. The factory processes beef. The work is done from Monday to Friday, between 6 am and 4 pm, 32-40 hours / week. The work will start in March/April/May 2026 and work is available until the end of September.
We expect from the candidate:
- Fluent in English
- 18 years of age
- Previous +2 years of work experience in slaughtering (especially cattle) is a must
- Careful and precise approach to food hygiene, quality and occupational safety
- Hygiene passport - please be prepared to complete it if you do not have it
- If you are not a Finnish or EU citizen, you must have an unrestricted or food industry process worker work permit.
