We are now looking to fill the role of Supply Chain Planner. Location for the job is Oulu, Finland.
What you’ll do
As our Supply Chain Planner, you will be the key driver of demand planning and supply alignment, ensuring our operations are proactive, data-driven, and responsive to business needs. You will:
- Take ownership of demand planning for your assigned area, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales, product management, and supply chain teams to gather and analyze demand signals, translating them into actionable supply and procurement plans.
- Release and maintain feasible supply plans, supporting inbound and outbound logistics.
- Set and manage inventory and supply planning parameters.
- Identify material and capacity constraints, escalating risks as needed.
- Support supply chain capability analysis and component allocation.
- Set production and purchasing priorities.
- Facilitate global view simulations in shortage situations.
- Participate in PiPo-planning with product management and delivery capability management.
- Develop and drive continuous improvement in planning systems and processes.
- Create simulations, analyses, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) to support decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy in ERP/SIOP.
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 3–4 years of experience in supply chain or production planning, demand planning, or materials management.
- Demonstrated expertise in demand planning, including forecasting, scenario analysis, and translating business needs into supply chain actions.
- Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, and logistics.
- Demonstrated competence with ERP systems, Supply Chain Planning platforms, and Power BI/Tableau reporting and visualization.
- Advanced expertise in Excel and data analytics is required.
- Ability to create simulations and build reporting tools to support planning decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a proactive and action-oriented mindset.
- Strong ownership and decision-making skills.
- Clear and effective communicator, able to collaborate across functions and respond quickly to changes.
- Problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
